What do you love most about your work?
Witnessing the people I help achieve success. After completing a class or a Book-A-Librarian session, observing the significant boost in confidence in the person I assisted fills me with a deep sense of pride.
What three critical skills help you in your work?
The three most critical skills for me to be successful in my career are interpersonal skills, rapid learning and patience.
What are your core values?
My current core values include teaching skills, effective communication, being supportive and possessing knowledge. These four values guide me through my daily life.
What motivates you?
Knowing that I can make a meaningful difference in someone's life is what motivates me.
What do you collect? Why?
Craft supplies, because I tend to discover new projects I want to try before finishing the current one.
What is your foundation?
My foundation is built on the belief that success can take various forms. For some, a successful day might be as simple as getting out of bed and getting dressed. Meanwhile, for others, a successful day might involve expanding their small business into something larger.
What should one never take for granted?
Simply, life itself is something a person should never take for granted, be it their own life or someone else's.
